When he, his twin brother Simon and their sister Mallory investigate what's really going on, they find a book written by his great great uncle, which is a guide to all the unusual creatures of the world. However, with the book, Jared and his family gets into grave danger as Mulgarath, an ogre, wants to steal the book for world domination. Jared must find a way to defeat Mulgarath and saves his family from the ogre's attack.
