7	memory	Ability to retain or keep knowledge	记忆	Our English teacher has a good memory for names. She knows all the students' names in our class.
8	prom	An important school dance in America	舞会	Chloe wants Clark to ask her to the prom dance.
9	protect	Keep safe Noun = protection	保护	Clark protected Ryan from his stepfather.
10	read my mind	Know what someone is thinking	看出某人的心思	Ryan can read people's minds. He knew that Clark had super powers.
11	stepfather	Father when your mother marries again. You can also have stepmothers, stepbrothers and stepsisters	继父	My stepfather is quite kind. He helps me with my homework.
