Who is Superman?

Superman is a famous superhero. He has been in comics, books, films, TV and radio series for more than 60 years. This is his story.

Superman was born on Krypton, a planet far away. The planet was dying. His parents put him in a spaceship and sent it to Earth. The spaceship landed in a town in America, Smallville. Jonathan and Martha Kent found him and called him Clark. His true love at school was Lana Lang.

After university, Clark went to be a reporter in Metropolis. He became Superman. Superman is strong, fast and can fly. He also has X-ray eyes. Only one thing can hurt Superman, Kryptonite from his planet. His enemies often use it against him.

His true love in Metropolis is Lois Lane, another reporter. In the comic stories, they later get married.
