The Upper Deck
The upper deck is located at the stern of the ship. Participants need to climb up a ladder to reach the upper deck.

The upper deck is where participants practise "abandoning the ship". They form two lines, one each on the portside and the starboard side, facing the sea. Then they jump into the sea after counting to three. This practice requires a lot of courage and children feel more confident after completing this task.
