The class
is going on an overnight field trip. Lizzie really looks
forward to it. She hopes to spend 48 hours with her
buddies, and without her parents.
However,
Mom Jo turns out to be the mystery chaperone. She joins
the trip and brings enough toilet paper for everybody.
At mid-night, she attacks the boys with the toilet paper.

Lizzie feels
Mom Jo annoys her. To prepare her for the field trip,
mom talks, talks & talks: "Listen to your chaperone...;
stick with your buddy...; pack enough toilet paper ..."
To embarrass
her in front of everyone, Jo joins the trip and wants
to be everyone's buddy.
But when
everyone wishes Jo were their mom, Lizzie is glad that
Jo is hers.

|
Before the
field trip, Miranda tries to help Lizzie. She points
out that Lizzie has pink ducky pajamas, not pink puppy
ones. However, Lizzie thinks Miranda only helps to embarrass
her more.
During the
trip, Miranda high-fives Lizzie's mom. Then she puts
war paint on her face, and has the time of her life
following Lizzie's mom to raid the boy's tent at midnight.

|
Gordo goes
around shooting with his video camera. He wants to video-record
adolescent milestones.
On the field
trip, he decides to get in touch with his hunter-warrior
instincts. He joins Ethan Craft, Danny Kessler and the
other boys to shoot the girls with squirt guns.

Pettus |
|
Mr Pettus
is the science teacher of the class. He is in charge
of the overnight field trip.
On the field
trip, he splits the class into two groups. He leads
the boys himself, and he asks Mrs McGuire to lead the
girls.
At mid-night,
he finds Mrs McGuire in the boys' tent, and learns that
he is not exactly in charge of her.

Kate decides
to badmouth Lizzie. She tells everyone that Lizzie cannot
sleep without her stuffed toy pig Mr Snuggles. She also
laughs at Lizzie's pyjamas.
Then she
decides to badmouth Lizzie's mom. She says Mom Jo is
a terrible leader and gets everyone in trouble.

The girls'
chaperone for the field trip is sick. Mom Jo is the
last-minute replacement. On the trip, she organizes
a mid-night raid on the boy's tent.
She ends
up being banned from all field trips. But the kids at
school pronounce her the coolest mom ever, of all time,
in the history of the universe.
At home,
Dad Sam & Little Brother Matt get to enjoy a men-only
night. They try to cook. They end up ordering a pizza.
