Lions at Lunchtime
Synopsis

Dragon King, the first emperor of China, is a totalitarian king. Nobody can disagree with him. He fears free thinking and orders every book in his country to be burnt. Jack and Annie, being Master Librarians, travel through time to save a book about an ancient legend in old-time China. On the way to the Imperial Library, they get to know a peaceful and fascinating ancient China.

Inside the palace however, nothing is peaceful. The king has already been burning books. The book they have to save is lying right next to the fire. Will they be able to save it in time? Can they escape from a palace full of soldiers?

Check out the book at the Hong Kong Public Libraries.
