Professional Development Courses for SBA 
In preparation for the School-Based Assessment Component in the 2008/2009 HKCE English Language Examination, a series of free professional development courses (eighth rounds) sponsored by the HKEAA are to be organised and taught by a consortium of teacher trainers from The University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Institute of Education. The PD courses aim at deepening your understanding of the 2009 SBA Handbook and 2007 HKCE English Language Examination Introduction to the School-based Assessment Component (with DVD) provided by the HKEAA. Teachers who have already taken the PD course in the first six rounds need not reapply. The seventh and eighth rounds of the PD course will take place between November 2008 and January 2009.
